The Selection tool
Solid black arrows are the regular Selection tool. use Selection tool to select the entire line or group by clicking on them or lugging around them. If you click or drag objects around is part of the group, all the way and in a group of selected objects as well.
Once you click on the selected object, if we do not see the box around the object boundary Appear, please select View> Show Bounding Box.
Click and drag to reposition the object. When we use the Selection tool, then we will select the whole object or group.
If we choose Direct Selection tool from the Tools panel, allowing you to select individual points or choose the path segment of the object.
